Shari Messinger is the owner and President of Resolutions2, a multi-faceted women’s center developed to address the needs of all women, particularly those with the very special requirements women have after undergoing significant changes to their bodies due to birth defects and surgery.
Shari, entrepreneurial by nature, long ago discovered that operating a unique business, with the special challenges facing her customers, has allowed her to wear many hats, in fact all the hats at once, and has given her the opportunity to develop the compassion that has always been one of her best attributes.
During her early years, Shari worked as a City Clerk for the City of Raceland, Kentucky where she grew up. She served as a Performance Coach with Advantage Valley Entrepreneurial League Systems, both helping her develop her many leadership skills. Shari plans on using all of her professional and human skills to help District 7550 continue to grow to its best potential.
Shari brings a wealth of Rotary experience as a 13+ year Rotarian and is a Past President, Assistant Governor, and RLI graduate. She is a Paul Harris Fellow, Sustaining Member, Polio Plus Society and Benefactor. She also had the privilege of leading a Group Study Exchange team to South Korea.
Her husband Steve is an honorary Member of the Barboursville Club and is always there to support her in many of the service projects her Club participates in. She cherishes going to Sunday school, and cooking for her daughter and 2 incredibly gorgeous, funny grandchildren for extended family time. Among Shari’s most valuable assets are her energy, enthusiasm, and her undeniable passion for Rotary.
