Rotary International is a service organization of nearly 1,206,000 neighbors, friends, and community leaders who come together to create positive, lasting change in our communities and around the world. Formed in 1905 it now includes over 34,282 Rotary Clubs in over 200+ countries with headquarters in Evanston, Illinois. Rotary International District 7550 is one of 534 Districts worldwide. These are organized into 34 Zones. We are in Zone 33. That Zone covers WV, VA, DE, NC, SC, and MD. District 7550 covers southern West Virginia (from Huntington and Kenova on the Kentucky border on the west, through Charleston, south to Bluefield on the Virginia border, then east through White Sulfur Springs) with over 1,125 members and 26 clubs. The District was established in 1915.
